AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Impact: how creator attribution works

A plain-language guide to sub-publishers, click IDs and postbacks for creator traffic.

Every attribution tool has the same idea underneath: a partner sends a click with an ID, the tool attributes the install or sale, then sends that ID back in a postback.

On ryme.club, the partner is ryme.club and each creator is a sub-publisher. In AppsFlyer that’s af_siteid, in Singular it’s psid, in Adjust we use adgroup, and in Impact it’s subId1. The click ID rides along in clickid, cl, label or SharedId.

Because the click ID is unique per click, conversions are matched to the exact creator, link and channel, even if a creator renames their handle later.

Before going live, fire a test click from the offer’s Tracking tab. You’ll see the click logged, the redirect, and the postback arrive, so there are no surprises on launch day.
